Fort Negen is one of the most famous bakeries in Amsterdam, located in Amsterdam West in the de Baarsjes neighborhood. Their signature is a dark crust sourdough, but if you’re on a weekend trip you should definitely try their weekend specials. For example a choux with apricot, lavender and jasmine.
It can be very busy at Fort Negen, but but don't be put off by the long line out the door. The great staff is well trained and delivers fast service!
